Our recording kit—available to check out from the Walla Walla Public Library—allows you to interview a friend or family member in your own home. No internet is required. The kit includes all of the supplies you will need to record the interview, as well as instructions, some sample questions, questions for kids and listening resources to help you record the story. You could even record yourself!

The Listeners Project “Interview Kit”

 

THIS KIT INCLUDES:

  • Handheld recorder and tripod with instructions in both English and Spanish

  • Clip-on lavalier microphone (which can also be used with a smartphone)

  • 10 Interview questions for adults and adolescents

  • 10 Interview question cards for kids

  • “Interview Guide” with basic steps for facilitating a good interview
